It is Beautiful Living Friday again and Melissa of The Inspired Room is hosting a linking event to share beautiful living goals. I encourage you to go over and visit her post today and explore its links as well as visit those who have linked up for sharing the beauty of their lives. This week I am rerouting you to a couple of links for previous posts that fit in with some of my original goals.
One of my original goals was to, "...include more festivity into daily life, refraining from ordinary business as usual and to enjoy little moments of beauty like watching a sunset or a sunrise, listening or observing more, creating little vignettes around my home that please the senses through sight, sound, taste, hearing, and touch...to indulge in more creativity..."
As I read through this goal I was reminded of a previous post that perfectly expresses enjoying the little moments of beauty and giving thanks for the little things. I hope this next week of beautiful living for each one of you is infused with festivity, creativity, and plenty of pauses to enjoy the little moments.
Blessings,
Miss Sandy

These are the moments that feed the soul are they not? The leaf loaded with raindrops speaks of such promise...just as learning to be grateful for the things we see on a daily basis if we only have eyes.
ReplyDeleteGod teaches us so much in life through beauty and small details. I am learning more and more to be thankful to Him for everything He gives. God bless.
ReplyDeleteMiss Sandy, I love your little vignette, it is so beautiful and soothing! I am enjoying the wonderful, much needed rain here in Georgia today! Later, as I start my ironing, I will open the door and listen to the rain hit the porch! I love the sound and smell of the rain....
ReplyDeleteThank you for your wonderful and inspiring post!
Hugs,Yvette

ReplyDeleteOh the beauty around -- We rarely see - snow in Ga -- But today the sleet came donw turning to rain while at church - so as our family and friends were sitting and eating - The snow came down in huge , giant flakes - such loveliness - but gave us a pause -- the driving was a little challenging home - the temps are to drop all day will be 25 this evening - with wind gusts 0f 20 - 30 mph -- We are not prepared for this type of weather -- but all but one of my chicks are snug in their homes -- and awaiting a call
ReplyDeletefrom the last one- In my mind are sweet remember days -- when all were home and the joy of a possible rare snow were in their hearts --- Blessings to your dear friend _Kathy - ga
