Oh my goodness, I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for the bloggy love you all sent my way in regards to the new studio. You have had me fairly dancing with joy!
Thank you so much for the encouragement, it is deeply appreciated. I don't know why I have been so nervous to show it. You have spurred me on to get busy fluffing and show you the rest! Many of you expressed interest in the coffee filter topiary lamps. Someone requested a photo without the light on...The first one was fun, the second became tedious, after about 300 coffee filters I quit counting so I am not sure exactly how many it takes, it would depend on the size of your topiary form. Anyway, have fun to those who try it!I had the pleasure of being cloistered away in the studio over the weekend creating away making some thank you gifts...Getting a tutorial ready to share with you on Friday...And making plans for what I hope will develop into an online workshop...
Not all plans pan out. Last week I met the the shop owner about the venue for the live class I have been fervently working on and things are not going to work out after all with that location so the class is on hold while I check my options. I have decided to hold off on that until after Christmas and just enjoy this time of celebration. I admit I am disappointed but I am not discouraged, timing is everything.I feel like I am swimming in ideas right now...And it is exhilarating! I love when I hit that creative stride that keeps me up late into the wee smalls creating by the light of the moon...I think, no, I know it is in part due to all the support and encouragement of all you precious blog friends. I am so grateful for the this community and count you among my most special of blessings. I hope each of you have a bountifully blessed day!

Sandy,
ReplyDeleteI meant to comment on your earlier post - I was so enthralled by your studio photos that I actually bookmarked that post so I could back and look at them again and again.
You have created a magical, wondrous and inspiring space. I know that even more wonder is in store!

Claudia

you, too, because it is so fun to see what

than coffee?
happy thanksgiving!

What a lot of wonderful things you are working on, Miss Sandy! These plans that fall through are disappointing, but I know that you just trust God for His perfect timing. He obviously has something far better planned.
ReplyDeleteYour creations are absolutely gorgeous and I so wish I could take that class, LOL. You will get it together when the timing is better. Have no fear, Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteSandy,
ReplyDeleteI so enjoy visiting your blog. Your photos are beautiful and I can't wait to see what you have created. I know what you mean when you hit that creative stride. It's so exhilarating.
I think, no, I know that your blogging friends think you are a special blessing too.
That's too bad about the class being put off for right now. But it is probably for the best. With the holidays just around the corner, it probably would have made your plate just a little too full.
Counting my blessings,
Sonya
Sandy, such a post full of beauty, your creations, looks fantastic, and I can`t wait to see the tutorial,---
ReplyDeleteI hope your class will be full, and a wonderfull experience in the new year, Sandy.

XO, Dorthe

I have some catching up to do!
ReplyDeleteLove the topiaries. I recently made a wreath and hope I never see another filter again. :)
Have a VERY Happy Thanksgiving dear friend!
Oh dear Sandy, you are too modest, my friend. You are one of the most talented women I know. And if it were only talent - but it's not. You've got such a big, huge heart too and it comes across in your words and creations.
ReplyDeleteThe little birdie pictures - the 3D one...OMG!!!!!! Talk about precious!!!! You do have "the touch". And all of those sparkly pipe cleaner ornies...glittery and festive! You're inspiring me to put down my coverlet and get my glue and paper out! LOL! See, you're to blame if the coverlet ends up on the unfinished pile! ;-)
Hugs and love and Happy Thanksgiving!
Diane
I love all of your gorgeous creations, especially that sweet little birdie tag, and the sheet music ornaments. Love them!
