One any given day there are at least one thousand and one things on my "to do" list. There are at least two thousand and two things on my "want to do" list. And then there is reality where I actually only accomplish one or two things from each list and if I am really lucky dipping my toe in the virtual world of blogging is one of them. Sometimes that is just not possible, this past week reality and virtuality collided. My real live life had to take precedence over my virtual blog presence.

I had such grand plans of doing a big "TA DA!" of my finished desk in the studio as well as a sweet little Valentine tutorial but alas I was needed elsewhere. It has been a week filled with care giving and shuttling to and from appointments for both my mother and step-father, today is the last one so hopefully I can get a real post in by the weekend.

My moments have been full, busy, and for the most part happy but I have sorely missed all by blog friends and all the news in the neighborhood. I still have some comments that have been left unattended and I hope I have not offended, I will be able to get to those very soon and hopefully to visit around too. Mostly I just wanted to pop in and say HI! I miss you! And I hope to visit with you soon.

I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful day!
How well I know this trial, Sandy. I can't get around Blogland as often as when I started out last year due to my work schedule. Oh - for more hours in a day to just read and play!
ReplyDeleteJoy!
Kathy
Lets just skip sleeping (I do this sometimes) and add to the missing hours in a day! :P I feel your pain!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet images! :D
Hugs,
Life happens, doesn't it! Well, we all just do what we can - so be where you're needed!
ReplyDeleteLove those images you posted, Sandy!
I know how that is Sandy! And yet you still managed to send some lovely packages?!
ReplyDeleteI just got mine today and wanted to thank you so much for all the pretty vintage treasures it contained!:)
If my blog wasn't coming to a close this week, I would do a nice post about it, but I have to do what I said I would!
Hope life slows down for you soon!
Big virtual hugs to you!
Life happens and we just do what we can. Lovely photos. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh I get it. I really do. Don't you worry one little bit about getting around. You need some time in your studio to create and connect with the things that make you happiest. Glad to know that the troubles of the past week are resolved.
ReplyDeleteHey, family comes first! I'm looking forward to your "reveal".
ReplyDeleteLife just happens Sandy and there is no way around it, care giving is time consuming and an act of love. You are probably doing just what you should be, your free time will come. Hugs and have a good weekend! Marilou
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your insights, and thanks for the digis. Drop by and visit. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteI wish me some more hours in a day too. Life can just be too busy sometimes. Glad you got a change to pop in and say HI.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend sweet friend.
xoxo
Thank you for sharing the images. They are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like EVERYONE I talk to these days...knows the meaning of the word BUSY!!!!!!!!! Thank you for sharing the beautiful images.
ReplyDeleteOh Sandy!!! I got my package today, but didn't get to open it til late tonight. I didn't want to wait a minute to thank you sooooo much for all the beautiful, wonderful items in my runner up prize. Not only did you inspire me to do the booklet, but the items you sent are further inspiration. it's as if you had been secretly watching me as I've been working on a fabric book that has somewhat of a nautical theme and all the shells, pearls and birds will go perfectly. And the items you made and shared, I am in awe, Sandy. I love, love, love your gift for creativity and inspiration. By the generosity of your gift you would think I had won, well I did, in meeting you. I just can't say enough . . . so I'll stop here but once more many thanks. Hope all is settling down for you so you can be back here with us very soon.
ReplyDeleteLife does that - just takes hold and drags us in other directions. I hope all is well on the home front.
ReplyDeleteWell wishes,
Ruth
Hope this comment reaches you in a good and stable state of mind, dear Sandy. Yes, life has so many doors which lead us in many different directions. Creativity may show behind EVERY door as we will always have to counter what we find there. I just found your blog and I find it very inspirative! Your art is beautiful and as soon as I find my Linky password I'll follow you! I wish you a merry Sunday full of blessing! Hugs, Manu
ReplyDeleteAren't you sweet & aren't they blessed to have you. As are we. Take care of you too. HUGS!
