NOTE CARD PARTY: GARDEN GATHERING...

Welcome, today I am participating in Vee's Note Card Party for April, this is a new special feature the third Wednesday of each month at A Haven for Vee.  You too can join in the fun by visiting Vee's linky post for all the details.
Since spring has reached it peak here in my little corner of the South.  My family and I have been spending as much time as possible outside before sweet spring turns into summer swelter.  My thoughts have turned to outdoor entertaining and this is the perfect time for a garden party, ladies tea, or get together with my nearest and dearest friends.  With that thought in mind I remembered a post I did sharing some Spring Garden Party Ideas.  I gathered four of my favorite photos from that post to represent note cards I would send out for a spring soiree.

Haughty Lady Hawthorne...
 Demure Miss Green...
Lovely Lady Dogwood...
All three ladies glammed up for the garden party...
I feel inspired to actually print these and use them to invite my two best friends over for  an afternoon in the garden.

Thank you, Vee, for hosting and for being a source of inspiration!
I hope you all have a wonderful day!

  1. Oh I hope you do it! They are darling and would make lovely invitations to tea.

Your comment on an earlier post about when spring might actually truly arrive in my corner gave me a chuckle. Of course, we believe that it has arrived with the forsythia blooming and all and the grass greening(but not too fast as it is very dry here) and the amazing sunsets and the itty-bitty green leaves. It's not a big spring yet, but it's a wee baby one.

  12. Dear Sandy, are they really head vaces? I have never seen such a thing before, and wondered how you made those big arrangements stay on their heads ;lol--until I read the comment about the vases.
They looks wonderful, and being invited with such a beautiful card for a cup of afternoon tea in the garden will be so elegant and sweet.
    A lovely post.

  16. How charming. Your head vases make me smile, and also remember. I think my grandmother had some like these - not the same, but vases of heads of long ago ladies.
