MESS TO PROGRESS...

I am trying to decide if I am making a more of a mess than progress on the third piece in my small series collection experiment. 

 Paint and fabric...
Progressed to a tangled mess...
 Of experiments gone awry...
 Mounting up to a pretty good reject pile.

Back to paint and fabric...
Still playing with the design...
Much less mess and more progress!
This experiment is series-ously harder than I thought it would be.

I will keep you posted on the progress, thanks for dropping in!

    Well, it's just beautiful. I'm not so sure what you aren't liking about it - I know we are our own worst critics. I luuuuv the peacock color on the piece. Is the egg a spoon??? Hmmm - crafty. You are certainly very talented:) Thank you for sharing - I think you just found follower #800.

    Hi Sandy!
    Just catching up with you at Quill Cottage and am inspired - as always - when I visit. To begin with, I am so very sorry about your mom's illness and the drain it has been on you. I can understand how it seems all things in life go on hold in the wake of a love one's illness. May you know the comforts of the Lord as you navigate this season - and moments of creative inspiration to soothe and refresh.

    Your studio pictures were a thrill - so many wonderful bits and pieces to blend together into new and fascinating marvels. I love to create like this, too - though I lack so much skill. Writing is my forte - but I love the tangible mixed media arts so much! They are my dessert - when I have the time.

    Love all the ideas, here - am inspired with the weaving thing to perhaps use it with some of my homeschool students in a project this year. We shall see . . .

    Meanwhile - I look forward to see how your series works out - and all the grand things you will learn - and share - along the way!!

    Sandy I was so sorry to read about your mother - that is definitely not an easy road for you and it really hampers our creative spirits, however, I admire your persistence and dedication here in sticking to this series-ously hard lesson of experimental art.
    You are so fortunate in being able to draw on several mixed mediums and I love your subject, choice of colours and materials.
    Anyway nothing is "rejected" as it can be used elsewhere.
    I am a bit of a grasshopper but tend to stay with just a small number of mediums.

    I know you have your comments turned off for the newest post but I just had to tell you how powerful it is and that many people will be touched by your words of honesty. I think most of us have the same problem, I know I do. It IS hard being green!
