Tied, bound, twisted, wrapped, wired...
Handmade beads...
Found stones...
I am lightly dipping my toe back into the creative pond by learning some wire techniques. The plan is to make some pendants to go on these beaded necklace chains and use the found stones and handmade beads in combination for a future project. It feels like a little swish of magic...
To be creatively connected to you all again!
I would love to hear what you have been working on.
I hope you all enjoy a beauty filled weekend!
blessings,
Sandy

ReplyDeleteMe? I've puttered away at a few things, I'm doing more sewing of late and have a zillion projects on the go. Oh, to finish!
So nice to see a post from you again. Hope all is settling in your world.
Nothing as lovely as this! Oh my. It amazes me all the new things that intrigue you and that you create these new interests so well. You do exquisite work...
ReplyDeleteWow Sandy you truly have thrown yourself back into something different and so very beautiful!

Those are gorgeous! I especially loved the blue/turquoise. I love the wire. It looks very nature like. Huuummmm....didn't quite know how to put that into words! Hopefully, you'll know what I mean!
ReplyDeleteI adore the necklaces! Especially the first one, with those beautiful amber shades. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeletewow, very productive!
ReplyDeleteI loved the wrapped wire look in the 90's when it was everywhere . And then it became so lack luster and so very dated. I'm surprised but thrilled to see these pieces because somehow you managed to make these pieces look fresh and modern- well not "modern" but definitely not outdated. They are really interesting with a lot of beautiful texture.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely pretties! Really like the wired pieces. It's something I can't seem to manage to get the hang of.
ReplyDeleteLove your jewelry Sandy!
