MY FAVORTIE PART...

This is one of my favorite parts of a completed project...
 Piles of project leftovers...
 Puddled over surfaces...
 Snippets and scraps...
Waiting to be assembled...
Into something magical...
  Sweet Snowbirds...
Tattered Angels...
 Shimmering Wings...
Precious Partridges...
With Stockings, Stars, and Snowflakes in the works.

Happiness (for me) is...Studio Scraps!

I have my snowbird out all year. He sits upon the sewing box where I pray that the cat never finds him. Really liking the angels and angel wings.

Oh Sandy you are such an inspiration!
I love especially your angel - a true artist needs little with an imagination such as yours.
We have baskets and boxes of special little pieces we can't bear to throw out and you have given me food for thought in creating one of my own with my own take on her.
The little feathered bird is divine too.

I have been so enthralled over the last week by witnessing the departure of 3 baby Willy Wagtail birds outside my studio door from the nest to the nearest branch and tomorrow these little fledglings I am sure will take a leap of faith and find their wings. I can't begin to tell you the miracle it has been to watch unfold each day.
I feel so blessed!
Thank you so much for sharing these pieces with us!

And which doll wouldn`t want such a pair of wings :-)
