Something New At The Quill.....

I have been working on a bit of something new here at Quill Cottage. I don't know about you but at times I find it very frustrating to know I saw something of interest on a blog and gone back to search for it and can't find it. Sometimes I remember to bookmark it and sometimes I don't. In order to make things a bit easier to navigate here I have been working on some link sites with specific categories. To keep things neat and tidy, you will find new link icons on my lower sidebar as the sites are completed.

I already had one for my blog roll, which I am currently working on updating. Below it you will find a new icon, (the nest photo above), that lists links to all my tutorials, tips, and techniques that have been featured from the beginning of this blog. There are 20+ links currently and I hope to add more in the future. Just click on the photo on my lower sidebar to be whisked away in to step-by-step instructions for the projects featured throughout my blog.

I am also working on others to gather all the recipe links, inspirational posts, and one to keep record of the art I create. Each site has sidebar links to take you back to my blog or any of the other sites with a mere click of a button. No more frustrating search! I hope you enjoy these new features and I'd love to have feedback on your thoughts about them. Have any other suggestions or ideas? I'd love to hear them also!

Blessings,
Miss Sandy

Excellent idea! I have done searches a number of times on your blog. I love it when all you talented bloggers come up with the great ideas...then I can use them visiting your blogs and ignore them when it comes to my own. LOL!

I love great ideas like these. It does make searching for things so much easier.

I just saw your last comment so I came over to let you know I am doing much better.

My hubbie went back to work today so all is quiet in the house. It's gray outside but somehow I find it peaceful and gorgeous. This is good for me considering I'm a bigger fan of Mr. Blueskies and Sunshine.

Currently I am not working(it's a seasonal thing) so I'm just enjoying my time. Hope your week is great Sandy!
