2nd Blogaversary Give Away Sign Up.....

Exciting things are happening around the Quill. We are anticipating the birth of our first granddaughter who is due in three weeks, today is Darling Daughters 21st Birthday, and Sunday was the anniversary date of my second year of blogging! I thought I would celebrate with a little give away.

(Egg and Bird images from Vintage Printable)

I have been totally amazed at all the wonderful people I have come in contact with through blogging. It is fun to look back and see how my blog has evolved over such a short period of time. I truly do enjoy meeting, sharing with, learning from, and being inspired by other bloggers. Thank you for visiting and for your kind comments. I treasure each and every one of you.
Before we get to the give away I wanted to share another piece of exciting news...coming soon in the very near future to a blog near you, I will celebrate the grand opening of a boutique here at Quill Cottage to sell my artwork. So many of you kind souls have expressed interest in my work and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Here is where I need your help, what to name the boutique? I thought of Quill Cottage Creations or The Boutique at Quill Cottage, but I am not so sure about either. What would you suggest? It needs to be something that is identifiable with me. I would really love to have your input. I will be sharing more about this in another post, on to the give away...I would like to offer a couple of my most recent projects as prizes in this give away, the Nest Assemblage.... and Nature Journal... from my last post. Visit here to see journal page details. Along with each of these I will include an assorted original ephemera pack for creating your own art.

To sign up for the give away just leave a comment on this post, comments will be open until Sunday, August 23, 2009 and the winners will be announced on Monday, August 24, 2009. You do not have to have a blog to enter, anyone is welcome to enter, and there are no shipping restrictions.

I hope you all find something to celebrate in your day today!

Blessings,
Miss Sandy

Congrats on your 2nd anniversary of blogging Sandy. You were the inspiration behind me beginning a blog and I will always be grateful for your friendship. Happy Birthday wishes to your daughter; happy 21! And I know you are all so excited to welcome this precious little girl into the world. My 4th great niece was born last week - we are grateful that she is healthy. Hope you are having a great week. I am still thinking about a name for your shop.

Congratulations on all the wonderful things happening in your life! I am so excited that you're going to sell your beautiful work! What a gift you have of making everything lovely!

As for names, why don't you just call it Quill Cottage just like your blog? Or maybe Creations at Quill Cottage? Or maybe the most fabulous, beautiful, magnificent stuff ever shop?

I'm so happy for you and can't wait to see what's for sale. Self control...I have self control.

I can't really think of any special name for your shop - my creativity has been all taken up by writing this week, and the thoughts of school beginning. :)

Dear Miss Sandy,

Although we've never met, you have become one of my special "blog friends". I try to visit daily. You are a real inspiration to me and have kindled a love of vintage that is beginning to appear in my card making.

Congratulations on all the happy events and I wish you all the success in the world in your new venture.

Does Quill Cottage Treasures (or Delights) sound like a good name to you?

Thanks so much for all the beauty and loveliness you have shared us all through your delightful blog. We are all the richer for it.

May God Himself bless you abundantly.

2 years of blogging! Happy blogversary to you Miss Sandy. I do hope that there are many happy years at Quill Cottage to come. Not in the least place because I so much like your blog and your creations: so I like the idea of a shop very much. I think it is good to relate the blog and the boutique by name, it makes searching so much easier, so I like your suggestions: Quill Cottage boutique even better than Quill Cottage creations, as the latter suggests that you only sell your own creations, but you might as well sell (vintage) supplies or other lovelies in due course.
Congrats to your daughter and congrats to all who are awaiting your first grand daughter. Enjoy this happy time. Thanks for giving away such lovely prizes and thanks even more for being my blogfriend! Have a lovely day!

Thank you for giving us an opportunity to partake. Quill Cottage Creations sounds very good to me. Now I'm wondering what you did choose.
