WHERE WOMEN CREATE BOOK OF INSPIRATION...

Some days are filled with joy and beauty and some day are just not that pretty. Today was not a pretty day here at the Quill. To lift our spirits Handy Hubby and I went for a long drive about sunset, out to dinner, and then to the book store where I found some beauty and inspiration all bound up in a book.

I just had to share with you the new book I picked up this evening at the book store - Where Women Create Book of Inspiration; In The Studio and Behind the Scenes with Extraordinary Women by Jo Packham and Jenny Doh. This hardbound beauty is chock full of wonderful artists, artwork, and studios to drool over! This book lives up to its name. Some of my favorite artists are featured, Lori Oles, Connie Govea Stewart, Pam Garrison, Susan Tuttle, Ulla Milbrath, Teresa McFayden, Nicol Sayer, Angela Cartwright, just to mention a few. Of course, Jo and Jenny are in there too! I can't wait to devour the beautiful pages of this book.

Thank you to all who have dropped in to visit this week and left such sweet and uplifting comments in my absence here in the land of blog. Depending how things go tomorrow I may be away a little longer than I had anticipated. I pre-posted this week and will do so for next week, responding to comments as I am able. Thank you so much for sticking with me. I really appreciate your loving support. Just to let you know without going into a lot of detail, tomorrow will be an extremely difficult day, I would so appreciate your good thoughts and prayers.

I hope your days are being filled with beauty, joy, and blessings! Thinking of you, missing visiting you, and hope to return very soon.

Blessings,
Miss Sandy

In this world those are becoming a rare commodity so, I thank you.

To know that you are having a difficult time hurts my heart also because of what you do share with all of us, thoughts and prayers are coming your way.

Miss Sandy - Blessings, comfort and peace are sent to you this day from me. And I send a couple of my favorite verses of scripture, too:

Psalm 16:5-8

"Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the LORD always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken."

Hugs to you, sweet lady...

Dear Miss Sandy,
My thoughts and prayers are with you too during this difficult time. I'm sorry you are having to go through this. But you know you are not alone.

And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Romans 5:2-5

And I want you to know too that...
I thank my God every time I remember you (Phil 1:3) You have been a blessing to many of us in blog land.

Hugs and prayers, Sonya

What can I say but thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a gracious post when this is not a good time for you. Always remember that the journey we take is not taken alone ... you have many friends who travel with you every step that is taken.
My best always
