Karla and Beth Sweet Treats and Roses Recipe Swap.....

Readers, I am so excited! I got my Sweet Treats Swap and it is totally awesome! This swap was hosted by Karla of Karla's Cottage and Beth of Gathering Dust. They did an amazing job of making all the covers for the recipe books and with the help of fellow swapper, Jen, assembling them. A huge thanks goes out to these two lovely ladies who generously gave of their time and talent!

Forty Two talented atrist made an original designed recipe page and made Twenty Two quality color photo copies of it, plus a beautiful hand made tag for the swap. Below you will not only find some amazing art pieces but recipes that will satisfy any sweet tooth, with an added bonus of a couple of recipes for beauty products!

I have left links for as many of these lovley ladies as I had that information for so that you can visit them also!

Oh my! Those creations are lovely. I am so impressed. (My computer wouldn't let me open any in a larger size...shoot!)

This represents such a huge effort by so many, but what a treasure to enjoy for years to come.

Thanks for stopping by and registering for my drawing. I just joined the even last! I just know everyone has to draw the winner on the 13th. Beth and Karla's books are fabulous. I am so over the top thrilled with mine. IT is such a cherished work of art. I would have embellished my page more if I would have known!!! I will learn.

I tried to enlarge them too, Sandy but they wouldn't. The only thing I can think is that you have your camera setting set to take a small size photo. I have mine set right in the middle not too small and not too large (in memory), then when I open it up into my photo editing software it says the size is 28" x 24" or something like that but that is way too huge. So right there in the editing software I change the size to about a 5 x 7. Then when I go to post my new post and add the photos, I have my selected LARGE photos and centered always. I'm not sure if this will help you at all Sandy but it's what I do for my photos. I like for viewers to see details....Thank you sweetie, xxoo, Dawn

Hi Again,

Some of them work and some don't. I started at the top image...nothing. By the third image, it was working, but toward the bottom of the list, they're not working again. I think the rose gel lotion is where it stopped opening???

Don't worry about it at all. I didn't participate so I shouldn't have the recipes. I just wanted to see the art work because it is so pretty. These gals and you are creative beyond words. If I ever get up to speed, I'd love to try one of these opportunities.

Wow!!! That was so great! Thanks so much for doing that.... I haven't received mine yet and have been dying to see it! You got my tag!!! Yay!

Would you believe that only two opened for me today? Computers or perhaps Blogspot...whatever.

Miss Sandy, I really want your recipe and it's one that one open so if you have the chance to fire it off, I'd be thrilled. I was able to snag Gooey Bars and Salted Nut Rolls and the information for the glasswing cookies that I may try for my grandbabies.

Thanks a million! Hugs...

Sandy,
Everyone did an awesome job on this book. My recipe is the strawberry spinach salad and if you look on the back of my card you will see my "little ad" printed on that old magazine page. Thanks for being part of this and for showing it off to Blogland!

They aren't working for me, but you went above and beyond the call of duty, Miss Sandy! Way above and way beyond. I'm far more inclined to think that it's a blogspot issue.

It's not within my sphere to participate much with these lovely endeavors, but I sure can point my finger and say, "Ohhhh, look over there!" After all the effort that went into this project, it's the least that I can do for it's too lovely to go unnoticed!

Have a lovely evening and stay warm and cozy. Brrrrrr, it's cold outside!
