Etsy Announcement.....

"Buy Handmade!"

I don't know about you but I love to browse around and buy on Etsy. I love supporting other artist and Etsy is a great way to do that. For those of you who may not be familiar with Etsy, it is a place where you can buy and sell all things handmade. Many of my blog friends have Etsy shops to sell their artful creations whether it be mixed media pieces, photography, fabric or fashion creations, to neat supplies to create your own art with, Etsy has everything from A to Z! I am particularly found of their vintage, art, paper goods, supplies, and book sections. Etsy has 31 categories to choose from with a host of subcategories under each main heading. That is a lot of browsing!

I am pleased to announce a new Etsy shop opening: Fry Fotography & Floral (fryfotogirl.etsy.com)! This new shop features photo note card sets and matted photos by none other than the fabulous Heather Fry!

Each note card set includes four 5x7 cards with a photo print size of 4x6 gracing the front of each card, envelopes included, for the excellent price of $5.00 per set with a shipping price of $3.00. Each set is in a themed category and features the stunning photography of Heather.
Matted photos vary in size and pricing, visit Heather's shop at the highlighted link above.

NOTE: All photos in this post are the exclusive property of Heather Fry, used with her permission, please do not copy. Thank you.

The Coastal Card Set, features four beautiful and unique beach themed photos like these amazing starfish and shells.
Heather and her family spent time living in Hawaii and if I am not mistaken, these are two of the shots she captured in tide pools there, how awesome!

The Farm & Country card set includes some great pastoral scenes, the one I am featuring below is of some farm land nearby Quill Cottage, a southern "flower bed", as well as a great old vintage International farm tractor.
I have blackmail photos of Heather acting like a hayseed and driving this very tractor, hee hee! I happen to be the tractors owner in case you are wondering. Her Mountain Beauty set includes this amazing shot! Heather resides near some beautiful mountain scenery and this was taken on one of her hikes. In her Just Flowers set you will find an amazing bouquet of flowers, like this California Rose as well as other floral delights. This is also offered as a matted photo. I hope you will visit Heather and check out her amazing photography. I got to be her very first customer! I will very soon be offering a chance to win one of Heather's note card sets as part of an upcoming give away so check back! Heather, I wish you much success in your new venture!

Blessings,
Miss Sandy

P.S. In case you are wondering, I have been thinking of opening up one of these shops myself for some of my handmade goodies. I have to do a bit more checking into it before I decide. Do you have an Etsy shop? Do you have any advice on opening an Etsy shop? Just wondering...

Beautiful photos!! I don't have a Etsy shop but I'm considering to have one too, to earn a little pocket money for buying with other Etsy sellers.

Now that's exactly what I first thought...that you were announcing the opening of your own Etsy shop. I have no knowlege of Etsy other than purchases I've made at through them and I've been very pleased with them all. On the other hand, some gals do their own little blog shop such as Margo (Margo's Junkin' Journal) and Robin (Punkin' Peddler).

Your friend does wonderful work and I love that she has used your tractor as a photography subject.

Thanks for explaining what Etsy was. I've seen that on several blogs and didn't have a clue. I think you should have an etsy shop.
