I've Been Tagged.....

I have been tagged by Helen of BRUSHSTROKE ETC. I am glad she sent the rules because I have never been tagged so I wasn't sure how it works. I have linked back to her and I am to tag five other blogs and tell something about each blog, link to each one, leave a comment letting them know they have been tagged, and then tell five things about myself, so here goes.....

I tag the following:

Vee of A Haven for Vee Vee lives in a small New England town, in a small neighborhood, in a small house at the edge of a bird sanctuary. Her blog is an eclectic mix of fluff and stuff, in Vee's words. I love visiting her!

Catherine of Catherine Holman Folk Art Catherine paints charming Folk Art scenes and tells a little story of each painting, both of which are charming. I think she should write and illustrate a book!

Vee of The Bearister Bookcase Vee makes bears and her posts are quite witty. I recently discovered her through the other Vee and I enjoy her posts and her creations are delightful!

Karin of Creative Chaos Karin's paper crafts are fantastic, her posts are written in tongue in cheek style, and she has the cutest little boys!

Cindy of Cindy is Crafty Mover over Carol Duvall - Cindy IS crafty! Cindy dips and delves into all kinds of crafts, she has lots of great ideas, and she is too funny!

Ok, now for five things about me....hmmmm.....let me see......oh, I know!
1, 2, 3, 4, & 5: I was once an elf! No, really, I was. I worked for a PCA Photographer at a Wal-Mart store as an elf one Christmas season taking pictures of children with Santa. I had a cute little elf outfit and everything. I am vertically challenged, ( On a big hair day I can almost tip five feet ), so this was a perfect job for me AND this is how I met my husband, I got him at Wal-Mart! (He is the best bargain I ever got at a super store!)

How is that for five things in one? You found out that I was once an elf, I had a job as a PCA Photographer, I don't mind dressing funny and being seen in public, I am short, and how I met my husband. Is it cheating to list the five things that way? Do they have to be five unrelated things? Help! I don't know all the blog rules, is there a blog rule book out there? Well, those are my five things anyway! If you want to play along and I did not list you, considered yourself tagged too!

LOL! You nut! I don't think that there are any rules...I hope not. It's nice to just BE in our blogs.
Gosh that was cute...

Okay, well, thank you for tagging me, I think. I'll get to it before too many days have passed. How nice to know that you enjoy visiting my blog. I sure enjoy visiting yours.

Oh, I was going to comment on calico cats. I'd never had one before. This little one is a former feral kitten abandoned on the side of the street where my kids rescued her. Anyway, she is just so loving and sweet until she tears from one end of the house to the other. My vet said that calico brains are wired about like the markings on their coats. Hmmmmm, I think I have found that to be true. What was your calico like?

Thanks for thinking of me. I'll do my best to get this done. Right now I'm still busy decorating for Christmas and painting. I love your 5 things about you!
